Set of 5 collectible art postcards from the “Emergence” installation at The University of Arizona BookStores, designed by University of Arizona alumnus Gerald Dawavendewa (Cherokee, Hopi).
Each postcard measures approximately 7 x 5 inches and features imagery inspired by Native American tribes — Cherokee, Hopi, Hisatsinom (Anasazi), Hohokam, Akimel O’odham, and Tohono O’odham.
The artwork celebrates Native American knowledge, astronomy, architecture, language, and cultural heritage. Each card includes printed text on the back explaining the symbols and their connection to the Emergence staircase panels located in the Student Union Memorial Center, Tucson, Arizona.
